About You:

  1. At least 5+ years experience building, executing, delivering marketing programs and initiatives.  
  2. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask
  3. Strong communicator who enjoys engaging clients.
  4. Strong analytical skills and ability to tie marketing activities to larger strategies.
  5. Strong strategic problem solver who wants to excel by doing the tactical work as part of a team. A thinker and doer.
  6. Can balance multiple priorities and projects at once and deliver against timelines.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
  8. Preferred: Experience with B2B, B2C, Cybersecurity, Technology, SaaS
  9. Preferred: Bachelor or other college degree.

The Job

The Day to Day: What You Will Be Doing 

This role will be responsible for executing marketing strategies for a set of specific clients. 

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Writing:
    1. Blogs
    2. Social Media posts
    3. Editing / rewriting client-written content
    4. Email campaigns
    5. Replies to HARO on behalf of clients
    6. Ad copy
  2. Research:
    1. Analyzing information from SERPs and competitors to help with team UXD studies and marketing audits
  3. Preparation/packaging:
    1. Creating, organizing, and distributing documents, agendas, monday contents so that it is ready to be shared with clients
  4. Design updates:
    1. Tweaking canva templates for social media quick updates
  5. Website updates:
    1. Making simple edits to WordPress websites
    2. Assisting with Hubspot from time to time for newsletters
  6. Communication:
    1. Being a trusted resource to clients and a source of knowledge regarding marketing and best practices
  7. Tracking and Analysis:
    1. Helping us mature in our proof of work. Showing how things are changing from an SEO stance and in metrics for social media.
  8. Coordination:
    1. Putting emails into MailChimp and Constant Contact
    2. Scheduling social posts into social tool
  9. Content Maintenance:
    1. Keeping client spreadsheets up to date
  10. Review:
    1. Proofread, edit, and protect brand standards in the development and execution of all digital marketing activities
  11. Bonus:
    1. Helping us help ourselves. Blogs, HAROs, RFPs, social media

Responsibilities:

  1. You will work directly and in collaboration with the CEO. You will attend client meetings and help ensure the quality of all content produced by the team. 
  2. Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  3. Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external stakeholders, and communicate about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  4. Identify new content requirements and collaborate with marketing team members to develop and implement new assets
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to improve data quality, reporting, and segmentation
  6. Assist with the creation and review of ad copy, website page content, and landing page content produced by our team. 
  7. Develop and optimize email marketing and other mass communication channels to fulfill lead generation objectives
  8. Produce and distribute thought leadership content to support branding and lead generation goals within marketing
  9. Own and report on the status and success of our activities.

Location:

  • This position is mainly remote with travel to Austin HQ periodically.
